Faraday’s first law: Analysis of the current of an electrolysis - Digital

LC3.1.5.4C
Faraday’s first law: Analysis of the current of an electrolysis - Digital
Faraday’s first law: Analysis of the current of an electrolysis - Digital

Description

By using Faraday's first law, the mass of the electrolysed substance can be calculated. At the same time, the mass depends not only on for how long the electrolysis lasts, but also on the current intensity. In this experiment the students recognise this linear relationship. Together with the previous experiment, the students gradually work out Faraday’s first law.
