The equilibrium of dissociation of acids - Digital

LC3.5.3.2C
The equilibrium of dissociation of acids - Digital
The equilibrium of dissociation of acids - Digital

Description

The dissociation of acids is an equilibrium reaction. In this experiment, the students determine the pH value of a strong and a weak acid of equal concentration. They discover that the pH values are not identical. The students realise that some acids do not dissociate completely and can thus infer the location of the equilibrium.
