DC and AC resistance of a coil I (observation experiment)

LP3.4.6.1
DC and AC resistance of a coil I (observation experiment)
DC and AC resistance of a coil I (observation experiment)

Description

In this experiment, the students will examine the resistance of a coil in a DC circuit and in an AC circuit by using the lighting up of a bulb as an indicator of resistance. They realise that a coil in an AC circuit has a greater electrical resistance than in a DC circuit.
